
Wellbeing reset workshop - a morning of yoga, meditation and outdoor swimming
Take some much needed time out for yourself and join us on our outdoor wellbeing workshop, designed to restore and reinvigorate in a beautiful lake setting on the outskirts of Bristol. The morning will start with a walking meditation, followed by a rejuvenating Hatha Yoga practice. The morning is rounded off with an open water swim session, where you can just float around or learn open water swim techniques from our experienced coaches, who can help you get the most out of your swimming. We finish the morning with a cup of tea or coffee and that all important slice of cake.
Fridays 9.30am - midday. Places are limited to 14 and cost £40.
We are a social enterprise and set up to help everyone improve their wellbeing. Although these workshops help us to financially sustain our community work, we realise that they are not always affordable for everyone. Therefore on each wellbeing reset workshop we offer 2 subsidised places. If you’re in need, or maybe you know us already through our community initiatives, get in touch and we will help where we can.
Workshop Details
WWorkshop will start promptly at 9.30am.
This session is for all genders and abilities. In terms of the yoga our teachers are skilled at adapting to all levels of experience and ability. You don’t have to be an amazing swimmer but we do advise that you are comfortable swimming out of your depth and able to swim 100m unaided.

LOCATION - WEST COUNTRY WATER PARK, TRENCHARD LANE, BS36 1RY, plenty of parking available. On arrival you will be asked to fill in a simple health questionnaire to make sure we can tailor the activities to suit your needs.
Please note that all the yoga will be outside if the weather is good, or indoors upstairs at West Country Water Park if its windy or rainy.

What kit to bring
For the Yoga activities just wear clothes you feel comfortable in and bring a good pair of trainers for walking round the lake. We will provide yoga mats, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
For the swimming please bring whatever you normally swim in, plus a towel and plenty of warm clothes for after. Water temperatures will vary greatly during Spring and Summer. If you’re worried about getting cold then add a wetsuit to your booking or you are welcome to bring your own. You will be required to wear a swim hat and tow float but we will provide you with both on the day if you do not have them.
There are toilets, changing facilities and showers at the lake.
